Recently, many fraudulent consultancies and job agencies claiming to provide study, work, immigration visas for the USA, UK, Ireland, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Gulf countries, and other destinations have been reported.

These fraudsters often use deceptive tactics such as:

• Fake or misleading company profiles

• Fabricated websites and virtual contact numbers (Often Limited to WhatsApp / VOIP only)

• False claims of partnerships or recruitment tie-ups with foreign companies / colleges / universities / institutions

• Counterfeit offer letters issued after collecting an initial payment

After receiving the first payment, they usually demand a larger amount for " Study Visa" or “Work Permit Processing” or "Visa Filling" or any other "Immigration Related Visas," Once the full payment is made, communication often stops completely. Later in many cases, it is discovered that the provided office address, phone numbers, and company details are fake or non-existent.

Recommended Precautions:

✔ Verify the agency’s legal registration, license and and operational legitimacy.

✔ Check if they have a genuine, verifiable physical office and official documentation.

✔ Confirm the authenticity of the employer directly with the foreign company whenever possible.

✔ Never trust offer letters issued without a real interview or official verification.

✔ Avoid making payments without proper agreements, receipts, verifiable procedures, authentic documentation and validated processes.

Be cautious of consultants demanding large payments upfront. Many fraudulent agents show fake visa copies, fabricated documents, or flashy / impressive offices setups to build false trust. Applicants should rely only on verified documentation and transparent procedures.

A genuine and ethical immigration process usually involves clear documentation, official procedures, and transparent communication. A genuine immigration or overseas consultant will only collect processing fees after successfully obtaining your visa – not before.
